Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 16, 2026. This policy explains what data Unthinkable Meals collects, how we use it, and your choices.

Information we collect

When you create an account, we collect your email address. During onboarding you may also provide age, sex, weight, height, activity level, country/ZIP code, dietary restrictions, and health notes. We also store your meal plan, check-ins, and scanner history to power your personalized experience.

How we use your information

We use your profile to generate calorie targets, build weekly meal plans, adjust recommendations for health notes, and score barcode scans against your goal. Your email is used only for account-related communication and important service updates.

How we protect your data

Your account is authenticated through Supabase Auth and your data is stored in a secured database with row-level security. We do not sell or rent your personal information. Access is limited to what is necessary to provide the service.

Third-party services

Nutrition data for barcode scanning comes from Open Food Facts and USDA FoodData Central. These services receive only the search terms or barcode you submit, not your profile or identity.

Your choices

You can update your profile or delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings. If you delete your account, your profile, plans, and check-ins are removed from our systems.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised policy.
